As part of our governance arrangements we work closely with our Board and  Finance and Audit Committee on the development of a focused annual budget.  As part of our award condition and due diligence process we are subject to an independent financial audit each year. 

 

We have in place, with regular reporting to the Finance and Audit Committee and the Board of Trustees on the ongoing progress:

• Development of a 5 year financial plan which supported the new Sport England funding submission

• Completion of a sound annual independent audit review (pages 10 – 13) completed by Harris, Lacey and Swain Accountants and Auditors

• Completion of a sound financial audit completed by BDO Accountants.

• Development of a Financial Audit Action Plan, taken from the BDO audit report implemented overseen by the  and Audit Committee

• Successful submission of a Sport England Grant application for 2022 – 2027, circa of £2.6m
